After killing a troublemaker, Cristino flees to a town in the Northeast and is forced to join Lampião's gang, where he becomes his right-hand man, under the name Corisco, the Blond Devil. He falls in love with Dadá, a farmer's daughter, and takes her with him by force. Gradually, she learns to love him, and they live together for 13 years in the cangaço. Corisco escapes the Angico massacre but is captured by Lieutenant Zé Rufino's volante after beheading the family of Lampião's informant. Dadá and Corisco, on the way to hand them over to the authorities, reminisce about the adventurous adventures of their lives.

Alfred is a poor devil of a man, middle-aged, married, working and totally lacking ambition. In Heaven? Or in Hell? On Earth, the Angel and the Devil come across with the story of a father, Parvo, who blames his daughter's death on Onzeneiro. While Parvo looks to get his revenge on Onzeneiro, this one tries to get rid of the murder charges by paying of the judge. They both gather with their accomplices at the same place, a brothel, without knowing about each other's presence. Here alliances are formed and broken with the help of peculiar friendships, represented by the characters of "Auto da Barca do Inferno".

Gugu is a homosexual dressmaker who works with his mother in her studio. She does everything to get him married and after much insistence, he agrees to marry Sônia, with whom he has a son. One day, couldn't take that dubious situation any longer, he left his wife and moved to Rio de Janeiro, where he set up his own studio, finally living the life he always wanted. After a few years, he receives the news that his wife has passed away and he returns to his homeland, meeting his son Régis, also a homosexual dressmaker. They both move in together but, ashamed of their sexual preference, they hide it from each other. This leads to many humorous situations, as the two are constantly harassed by women from whom they always try to get away.
